Badge/Kit 2027/2028
We are currently liaising with the club to organise a survey of badge designs early in the season. With regard to Kit designs for 2027/28 season we are working to set up a fans focus group to assess designs. We also discussed whether there was a need to have 3 new kits each season, we agreed to put a plan together to get views from supporters to take to the Club.
Loyalty Scheme
Following discussions with the Club on how a loyalty scheme model could work, Chris will get back to them with some more suggestions around loyalty points for attending matches.
Website
Having regained control of our website, we now need to make progress in improving and correcting problems with the site. One of the major problems is processing annual renewals when Members get new Debit Cards, this is causing us to lose a significant number of Members each year when payments get declined. The extent of the work needed means that we do not have the volunteer resource internally to make the necessary changes, we agreed to engage a Wix expert to help with this.
Season Ticket Support
Our Season Ticket appeal has now closed and 20 fans who otherwise could not afford a ticket will now be able to attend.
Sticker Albums
We are selling sticker albums with all the right stickers for £30 on our website. Some will be available for sale at our stand in the 1895 Fan Bar when the season starts until the end of September, at which point all sticker album sales will stop.
Boot Bank
Maurice will relaunch the Boot Bank project pre-season and distribute some collection bins around Oldham and at our kiosk. Workplaces have done well previously so if any members are willing to host one in their workplace, please let us know. We noted that donated boots have been put to good use in the past by local individuals and community organisations, including Vimal Yoganathan’s Sri Lankan charity.
World Cup Sweepstake
We have run an OASF sweepstake for the world cup using a website randomiser. Damian will organise winners prizes when the World Cup is over.
Profits to go to the 1895 Fund.
