Your Chance to Shape OASF

We’ll be announcing the date for our Annual General Meeting in the coming weeks. We’ll be hosting it online, like the last few years.

To vote in the meeting, you need to be a member of OASF a month before the meeting. You can become a member of OASF at oasf.co.uk/become-a-member.

The most important part of the meeting is electing members to lead OASF. There are three empty spaces already and three elected members’ terms expire this year (Jim Booth, Maurice Scott and Chris Stringer).

Some current elected members will be stepping down this year. The minimum we can have is six. We strongly encourage people to start thinking about whether they would stand for election to help lead OASF, whether you’re a member already or not.

As an elected member of OASF, you get the strongest say in what we do and how we do it. Whether you support the current board’s work or think we should do things differently, this is your democratic supporter organisation and your chance to shape it.

If you have any questions about what it means to be elected, please contact OASF or any current elected member directly. We’re happy to talk to anyone about it. Similarly, if you need help becoming a member, please get in touch.
