Deadlines and Dates for Annual General Meeting

On Monday 30 June, we’ll be holding our 2025 Annual General Meeting. This is an opportunity for all Latics fans to influence the direction of our democratic supporter organisation. We’ll be electing new members to steer the strategic direction of OASF.  

To be able to vote or stand for election to lead OASF, you must become an OASF member by 23:59 on Friday 30 May. 

Some current elected members will be stepping down this year. The minimum we can have is six. We strongly encourage people to stand for election to help lead OASF, whether you’re a member already or not. 

If you get elected, you will get the strongest say in what we do and how we do it. Whether you support our current work or think we should do things differently, this is your democratic supporter organisation and your chance to shape it.

Important dates in the run-up to the Annual General Meeting 

• Friday 30 May: Last day to sign up as a member 

• Saturday 1 June: Publication of election policy and form 

• Friday 20 June: Deadline for standing for election 

• Monday 23 June: Deadline for members’ questions 

• Tuesday 24 June: Announcement of election candidates and voting details 

• Monday 30 June: Annual General Meeting 

What happens at an Annual General Meeting?  

• Update from the current elected members.  

• Presentation of OASF accounts.  

• Members’ questions.  

• Election of new members to lead OASF.  

• Voting on whether OASF accounts should be independently examined or audited.  

What do elected members do?  

• Set the strategic direction of OASF.  

• Develop and lead initiatives, like our season ticket support scheme.  

• Meet monthly to discuss progress and agree next steps.  

• Meet club representatives like the CEO, Darren Royle, each month to monitor and influence the Club.  

• Decide OASF policies, like membership fees.
