OASF became aware yesterday of fans receiving bans from Boundary Park following the pitch invasion at the Salford City game. We have also been made aware of fans concerns around their personal data and how this is being handled by Oldham Athletic.
With this in mind we have spoken with the Football Supporters Association (FSA) and we have approached the club with pertinent questions around the data they have allegedly shared, their justification for doing so as well as seeking some clarity on how this remains compliant with GDPR.
We would actively encourage any fans that have received bans to contact us so we can correspond with you directly on this matter.
It is important to say that, while we are not aware of any fans being approach by the police, if you are, please do seek legal representation before taking any further action.
